Pastry making is a delicate art that requires skill, patience, and a passion for baking. Every pastry, baked good, bread, and ice cream served at the Honeycomb is a product of our pastry students. Students take pride in knowing their products are selected for sale, and are dedicated to perfecting their craft. Our labs courses teach students to be objective evaluators, to know the difference between an edible and a sellable product, and to create pastries that are not only delicious but also visually appealing.
Types of Pastries We Offer
Our menu features a diverse range of pastries, all components bespoke. This term, the Classical Pastries class is offering some of these highlights:
Croissants: Our buttery, flaky croissants are made using a traditional French technique that involves folding layers of dough and butter. The result is a pastry that is light, airy, and perfect for breakfast or an afternoon snack.
Danish Pastries: These sweet treats are filled with a variety of ingredients, from cream cheese to fruit preserves. Each Danish is carefully shaped and baked to golden perfection, making them a favorite among our customers.

Tiramisu: Rich and creamy, we have been told (by some proudly self proclaimed Tiramisu snobs) that ours is the best in town!

Culinary and pastry making classes are operated through the campus Center for Lifelong Learning (CLL), and are perfect for anyone interested in honing their baking skills or simply wanting to have fun in the kitchen.
