School of Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management

The School of Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management at Ivy Tech Community College - Bloomington.

We offer three Associate Degrees:

Culinary Arts

Baking and Pastry Arts

Hospitality Management

An Associate Degree is 60 credit hours of course work which includes an internship.  This is a 2 year (4 semesters) degree at full time status.

Within the Associate Degrees, we offer stackable certificates:

Certificate - Culinarian

Certificate - Certified Pastry Culinarian

Certificate - Hospitality Management

This is an entry level certificate, 16 credit hours (2 semesters), meant to enhance a degree in another concentration or for professional development.

Technical Certificate - Culinary Arts

Technical Certificate - Baking and Pastry Arts

Technical Certificate - Hospitality Management

The Technical Certificate is 32 credit hours (2-3 semesters), goes beyond the entry level courses to include more business and technical skills.
