About The Honeycomb
The Honeycomb is a vibrant coffee shop and eatery driven by the enthusiasm of our culinary students. Everything we serve is student-made.

Our Mission
MISSION STATEMENT: To empower student confidence and success through real - world experience, one happy customer at a time.
We are engaging with the campus community of students, staff, and faculty by providing a good customer service, a great product and a pleasant space to enjoy it.

Honeycomb Specialties
Espresso
Experience the rich and bold flavors of our classic and signature espresso drinks, expertly brewed to perfection. Our espresso machine is NOT automatic, so our baristas are learning how to pull and evaluate shots the old school way.
Carrot Cake
Our gluten free carrot cake is a beloved classic; moist, flavorful, a worthy vessel for cream cheese frosting.
Blueberry Muffins
These humble pastries, studded with berries and topped with streusel, are a labor of love by our Intro to Baking students. This formula is the first class project calculating in Baker's Percentage.
Soup and Bread
We offer soup and bread each day at the eatery. Flavors vary with the seasons, but the breads are always crusty. Soups are made by the students of HOSP 103, an entire lab dedicated to soups, stocks, and sauces.

We are educating the future Hospitality industry. Our students move directly into the workforce. The Honeycomb provides real world experience for our students.
Support Student Travel and Experiences
Even though students are engaged in culinary labs 10 - 30 hours a week for 8 weeks - not everything can be learned in a classroom.
Our students need to experience food, hospitality, and culture outside of our tri-county area. Experience is key to professional and personal growth.
Student travel and culinary experiences are funded through our Hospitality Foundation.
